Crispy Pizza Roll / Pizza Taquitos
Pizza Rolls have been a go-to for my kids lately! They’re easy enough for them to make on their own and they have a delicious, crispy pizza taste! You can vary the recipe based on the “tortilla” that you use. Check out all the ideas in our tips and tricks below!
We often call these Pizza Taquitos in our house and they are an easy high protein low carb lunch during the summer, winter break, or even an afternoon snack!
Recipe:
2 Tortillas
Marinara or pizza sauce
Pizza Seasoning / Italian Seasoning
6 Pepperoni (optional - or other toppings)
2 Cheese Sticks
Toothpick
Spread a small amount of sauce on down the center of your tortilla. Anything more than a half tablespoon or so will leak out when you hold it
Season with pizza seasoning
Place 3 pepperoni or other toppings down the center and add your cheese stick on top.
Roll and hold closed with a toothpick, make a second!
Air fry at 400 Degrees for 3-5 minutes
Done once edges are golden brown..
Serving Size: The macros will vary widely based on the tortilla you use. Check the back of your package (or use our recipe for an egg white tortilla) for nutritional ingredients.

The Keto Dad Tips and Tricks:
Our kids like using zero carb tortillas. These often have gluten, so if you’re staying gluten free, avoid them.
Egglife wraps are another great option. They’re a little larger than a zero carb tortilla, but you can still wrap them around the cheesestick.
Make your own egg white tortilla! Check out the recipe here
